Climate

Climate is the long-term pattern of weather conditions in a region. In an average year in a tropical rainforest, the climate is very humid and beause of all the rainfall. The climate can affect different organisms for example how plants can receive lots of water and are able to grow tall. Many plants are able to survive in this climate leading to many species of plants. Many species of plants lead to many ecological niches allowing for many species of animals to live there without necessarily competing for the same resources. The rain forest can recieve up to 1 percent of sunlight that strikes the uppermost branches of the trees, called the canopy, is a way for it to go through the ground.
